Rain Harvests, exposes the harsh reality of an indigenous community in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Climate change has caused droughts, the rainy season comes only once a year and getting water has become a daily challenge. Without fail, the women of this community must make nearly 5 trips daily to bring water to their homes, and the difficulty and hardship of these journeys has caused them not only back and headaches, but also the loss of long hours with their families. The story of Blanca and the women of this community is about to change thanks to the arrival of a rainwater harvesting system, which will save them long trips and give them more time and more water.
